Great tip! Thanks, Joe. I'm better at indifference than I was when I was younger. Knowing it's more about getting to the next page or piece rather than making one thing perfectly, really helps.
absolutely love Joe Rubinstein advice to you. Again thanks for sharing your insights, your art and such. this is very new to me here, love how this is set up a nice clean format. really looking forward to whats ahead!
I read your latest bemusing musings and then stared at my signed copy of Sword of Azrael #1, which I humbly believe is your best work. Not sure why that makes me humble to admit that but regardless, it’s my fave work of yours. So take that!
Ha! Years, YEARS back on one of your New Joe Fridays columns, I vaguely remember you or someone jokingly giving the title for a Captain America Reborn variant you did, "Cap Takes a Crap"
Sadly, I only have a couch. But you've got it if you need it, kind sir.
I won't be at this week's Philly show, but I will tell you that seeing you in Philly at various cons in past years was a lot of fun. My late friend, Glenn Walker, and I would make sure we never missed a panel you did. You've always been a straight shooter and a hell of an artist, and I hope you have a good time in Philly!
I like your art an awful lot! I’m a fan, that being said. Please change your profile hair color. Blond is so wrong. I know it’s pity to say. But it bugs me.
Thank you for all your endeavors with the comic industry. You have changed the landscape so much, it’s exciting to see the involvement behind the scenes! I love comic covers more than anything. Stories are a close second. Chris Clarmont wrote some not all of the best X-Men tales! I’ve always had trouble reading but I got better thanks to comics. You have achieved so much and I just wanted to say thank you. You made my life better!

Sounds like this is going to be a lot of fun to subscribe to.

LOL! That hot dog stand, and the secret title made me laugh. Good read Joe! 👍🏼

Well, there goes next week's newsletter.
Thanks a lot, Taimur.
;^)
Thanks, Joe. I really needed that, and Batman has never been more human. I hate it when my cape gets caught...
He actually does it more often than you think. The scallops on his cape aren't by design.
I hope you get to come down to Jacksonville (Florida) sometime soon!
I've never been. That might be a good enough reason to go. You got a room I can crash in?
PS: I'm a horrible guest.
Sadly, I only have a couch. But you've got it if you need it, kind sir.

Thanks, Ray.
But wait, I just assumed you were taking the couch? I may be a terrible guest, but that’s just poor hosting.
We’ll miss you at the con.
It's been a long day. And of course I'll take the couch! I don't know what my girlfriend will think, though.
It's a mighty comfy couch.
Have fun!

A fan named Greg
Hey, Gregory, that profile illustration has had yellow hair for decades so it feels a bit weird to change it now. Gotta keep that branding consistent.
I guess if I lose my hair someday I'll have to do something about it. Sorry that it bugs you, but hopefully not enough for you to not stick around.
Thanks for the comment and the kind words. Speaking of words, I learned all the "big" ones I use in this newsletter from reading comics as well.
wow I can't believe you'd give my batman comic such a disrespectful title!!!!
I can only work with what I’ve been given.
oh yeah oops
Two of Daredevil’s greatest cutting it up!
