I did a signing once that got front page top-of-fold promotion on the entertainment section of the newspaper and a total of 5 people showed up, two of which were my mom and stepdad. I don’t think the other three thought I was Rob Schneider but I could be wrong!
Omg this was a great read. I was around back in the day of The Sword of Azrael. Back then there wasn't social media so being able to attract people into a comic book store really depended on word of mouth unless the store had the extra money to afford to advertise it locally. I look forward to reading more of your content each week. Its refreshing to see.
